David L. Kull is a Vice-President and shareholder of Wood, Kull, Herschfus, Obee & Kull, P.C. Mr. Kull graduated from the University of Detroit School of Law with the highest academic average in his class in 1968, at which time he entered the United States Army, Judge Advocate General Corps. He served as a Captain with both the 25th Infantry Division and the 101st Airborne Division. His four years of service included a tour of duty in Vietnam, where he was awarded two Bronze Stars and an Army Commendation Medal. Mr. Kull left active duty in 1973 and became a partner in the law firm of Kull and Kull, joining his father, David E. Kull. Mr. Kull has been awarded the highest rating (AV) by Martindale-Hubbel, a nationally recognized publication which rates attorneys throughout the country.
Mr. Kull has litigated a wide variety of business, construction, real estate, probate and commercial disputes at both the trial and appellate levels, including several reported cases. He has extensive experience in the negotiation of business, real estate, and commercial matters, and has practiced extensively in the area of probate, estates, and estate planning. Mr. Kull holds a Certificate of Completion in the areas of probate and estate planning issued by the Institute of Continuing Legal Education and the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan. Mr. Kull is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Livingston County Bar Association, and the Detroit Bar Association. Among his other affiliations, he is a member of the Reserve Officers Association. Mr. Kull has been admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, the United States Court of Military Appeals, as well as Michigan Courts at all levels.
